Isn't it basically a retainer?

In many ways it is similar to a retainer that is commonly setup with accountants or lawyers for wealthier or high demand clients.  However we have really tried to gear the price to what a small business or even an individual can afford.  Unlike the accountants and lawyers this is very broad coverage.  Basically, If we can do it, we will do it.

Is it "use it or lose it?

Well technically yes.  However it all depends on when you consider it "used" or " lost".  When you put in a new server which would normally cost thousands of dollars in hourly fees you are in fact "using" the previous fees you paid.  Think of it more like an "escrow" or "saving account".   You are making an investment in your technology by putting in a fixed amount over time.

In reality there are always tasks to be done and problems to fix so you will see us.

What if I don't like it?

Just quit.  There is no long-term contract.  Basically, just let us know.  From that date you get 30 days covered by your security deposit.

Can I rejoin?

To a limited amount or under special circumstances.  We use a "three strikes" rule.  Strike one-rejoin with no problem.  Strike two-rejoin if you promise not to quit again.  Strike three-sorry you will have to go elsewhere.
